Robin J. Gordon
A graduate from the University Of Tennessee School of Law in 1990, Robin entered into the private practice of law as an associate with one of the most well known litigation and entertainment firms in Nashville, Tennessee. Taking the opportunity to learn from the best, he cut his teeth representing artists such as George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Ronnie Milsap and Lee Greenwood. In the mid-nineties, Mr. Gordon left his previous association to assume the leadership role of the Gordon Law Group, PLC -- a new firm concentrating in the entertainment and litigation areas of practice. Mr. Gordon, utilizing his legal and practical business experiences, has established a unique formula for representing individual and business clients in contract negotiations, litigation matters, and general business matters. He has represented a variety of publishing companies, recording labels and other related business entities in addition to having the opportunity to work with several of music’s most influential songwriters, musicians and artists who have collectively sold hundreds of millions of records.
Noah C. McPike
Noah McPike is a member of Tennessee Bar, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Recording Industry of America, and Tennessee Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
Born and raised in Maine, Noah received his BA from the College of the Holy Cross and his JD from Franklin Pierce Law Center. Noah moved to Nashville because of his love of music especially the sounds of classic country, outlaw, and honky tonk country. Noah's other favorite musical genres include jazz, crooner, classic rock and modern rock, and any other well written song. Being an entertainment attorney in Nashville has allowed Noah to extend his passion of music to his professional career by helping those songwriters, artists, managers, and independent labels pursue their musical dreams. Noah spends his days working in the office but his nights are spent in clubs and venues supporting clients and looking to help artists get their big break. Noah is someone willing to fight tirelessly to protect the intellectual property rights as well as the integrity of his clients' work. Noah's work with Gordon Law Group also includes working in the area of intellectual property providing litigation and transactional services in copyrights, trademarks, and internet law.
Noah comes to Gordon Law Group after having gained valuable experience clerking for Loeb & Loeb of Nashville, Words and Music Copyright Administration of Nashville, and the Service Employees International Union. He was a student attorney for the Franklin Pierce Law Center Intellectual Property & Transaction Clinic during law school. In college Noah interned for NBC's Meet the Press with Tim Russert in Washington DC. Noah also enjoys hunting, fishing, and is an avid Professional Bull Riding fan.
John Jay Clark, Sr.
John came to the Gordon Law Group in 2009. Prior to being with GLG, John worked with Hardin, Parkes, Kelley & Carter, PLLC in Columbia, Maury County Tennessee.
John attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in December of 1999 and thereafter attended the Nashville School of Law where he obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence with Honors in May of 2005 and was inducted into the Honorable Society of Coopers Inn.
John was admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee in October of 2005 and was admitted to practice before the United States Federal Court in February of 2006.
John focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, insurance defense and general civil litigation.
John is a Member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Young Lawyers Division of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Davidson County Bar Association and the Maury County Bar Association.
John is a past President of the Maury County Young Lawyers Association, a Board Member of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, the Current District 11 Representative for the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and has served on the Wills for Heroes Committee, Co-Chair of the Tennessee High School Mock Trial Committee and Co-Chair of the Membership Committee; is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
John has participated in numerous volunteer activities including serving as the attorney volunteer coach of the Columbia Central High School Mock trial team from 2005-2009 and a volunteer judge with the Tennessee State Wide High School Mock Trial Competition. Additionally, John organized and held the inaugural “Wills for Heroes” program, sponsored by the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Young Lawyers Association, which was held in Columbia, Tennessee in August of 2008.
John was born in Columbia, Tennessee and now calls Nashville home. John is the father of two children John Jay Clark, Jr. (“Jack”) age five (5) and Emerson Katherine Clark age two (2).
Christina Juris Bennett
Christina grew up in Lebanon, Ohio, and she moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University. She graduated from Vanderbilt, magna cum laude, in 2004 with a bachelors of science in mathematics and minors in geology and women’s studies. While at Vanderbilt, Christina was also admitted into the prestigious honor society Phi Beta Kappa. After college, Christina moved to St. Louis for law school, and she graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in May 2007. While in law school, she was on the Dean’s List, participated in moot court three times, practiced as a student attorney with the Civil Justice Clinic, and received numerous accolades for her commitment to public service. Being in St. Louis during the school year made Christina realize how much she missed Tennessee, and she spent her summers interning in Memphis with Judge Alan E. Glenn of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and in Nashville with the Bankruptcy Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s office. After graduating, Christina moved to Nashville to complete a two-year judicial clerkship with Judge Robert W. Wedemeyer of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.
Christina’s legal interests include criminal law, family law, and bankruptcy. She also really enjoys appellate work, and she looks forward to arguing cases before the judges she has gotten to know so well. Christina is licensed by examination in both Tennessee and Ohio, and she keeps both bar admissions active. In addition to her practice fields, Christina is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. She is also an associate member of the Harry Phillips Chapter of the American Inns of Court, a legal society devoted to fostering intellectual conversations and collegiality in the legal community.
On a more personal note, Christina has become quite active in Nashville since returning to it. She is the secretary and a board member of the Brown Dog Foundation, a nonprofit organization, and she is a lunch buddy to a third-grader through Preston Taylor Ministries. Christina loves to travel, read, and spend time with her German shepherd and cat. Finally, she loves being active, whether it be a 6 a.m. yoga session or a Sunday afternoon tennis game.
R. Keith Gordon
Keith joined the Gordon Law Group in 2010. Prior to joining Gordon Law Group, Keith worked for two national restaurant corporations as a Real Estate Manager. In this role, he oversaw site selection, contract negotiations, franchising, and licensing across the United States. Before becoming a Real Estate Manager, he was an active Real Estate Broker based in Wichita, Kansas.
Keith attended Wichita State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in May of 2000 and thereafter attended Stetson University College of Law where he obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, cum laude in May of 2003 and is a member of Phi Delta Phi, legal fraternity. While in Law School Keith served as a Stetson Ambassador, a select group that served as mentors for the incoming first year law students.
Keith is a LEED AP, an accreditation indicating proficiency in green and sustainable development by the Green Building Certification Institute.
Keith ‘s practice will focus on the areas of real estate, including residential, commercial and green/sustainable development, wills, trusts, tax, franchising and corporate and small business planning. He is a Member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Young Lawyers Division of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the U.S. Green Building Council – Middle Tennessee Chapter.
Born in Williamsburg, Virginia Keith has had the good fortune of having lived all over the world as a military dependent. Keith and his wife have fallen in love with the Nashville area and the wonderful outdoor and cultural opportunities that it provides and are glad to call the area home. Keith and his wife homeschool their three children ages 6 through 11.
