Dan Dalrymple

Dan Bio Photo

Attorney at Law

Senior member of the Family Law, Criminal Law, and Civil Litigation Section

Dan has spent his life fighting for worthy causes. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Dan served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer, assisting with poverty alleviation efforts in Atlanta before starting law school and eventually joining the United States Army.

Over the span of ten years Dan served in many positions in the United States Army, as a judge advocate, military prosecutor, litigation attorney, special counsel, and senior defense counsel. His areas of practice included criminal prosecutions, criminal defense, medical malpractice, family law, and complex litigation. During his time in the United States Army, Dan worked in multiple duty stations including Fort Hood, Texas; Baghdad, Iraq; Washington D.C.; Kandahar, Afghanistan; and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Today, Dan combines both his charitableness and sharp litigation skills in the courtroom, with a soldier’s knack for attacking a target.

Dan settled in Nashville, where he continues to enjoy volunteering and outdoor endeavors, including obstacle course races like the Spartan and Mud Run. He is also a published author in both the Military Law Review and Army Lawyer.
